How do we work

1. Your artwork

We accept any files created by Windows or Macintosh software.

We prefer following file extensions:

Adobe Illustrator - files *.ai, *.pdf, *.eps

Adobe Photoshop - files *.psd, *.tiff

CorelDraw - files *.cdr

What to send: One native file w/live text, one native file w/outlined text, one pdf proof w/fonts embedded, all fonts associated with the job and all placed images contained within.

2. Prepress

The prepress procedure includes the manufacture of a printing plate, after final PDF or proof (if any) has been approved.

Graphic materials received from the Client are adapted to Flexo printing. When a colour reference is available (eg. printed film, proof), please provide it immediately to Olpo Group Sp. z o.o. (before the process of graphic design starts). Subsequent changes will extend the process of graphic design and generate additional costs.

Any changes to graphics and content should be reported before the final acceptance of the project (PDF document or proof, if any) to Olpo Group Sp. z o.o. Final approval of a PDF or proof (if any) is equivalent to the consent for production of photopolymer plates.

Proof approved by the Client is the primary reference for colour printing transferred onto the film. Typically, a project includes two types of objects composed of:

  • CMYK process colours (eg. photos)
  • Pantone colours (eg. text, logos)

Colour pattern for the first type of objects (CMYK) is proof, while for the second – Pantone Formula Guide Solid Coated Book. The pantone colours printed on the proof are just a simulation.

3. Printing

We can supply products printed up to 10 colors applying flexo technology. High quality printing as well as repeatability preservation are achieved by computer –controlled ink mixing unit. All prints provide HIGH DEFINITION FLEXO techniques. More

laminating

4. Laminating

Lamination combines two or more films into a sandwich. Lamination offered by Olpo Group Sp. z o.o. is a process which takes place using solvent-free adhesives.

Laminating machine covers one of the layers of the film with the adhesive coating (a mixture of resin and curing agent), and then presses it into the second layer of the film. This method does not require the use and disposal of solvents to the atmosphere.

Our duplex and triplex laminates are used for packing of a variety of products primarily in food industry. The structure and properties of laminates are selected depending on the specifics of the product and packaging machines used to process the film. Therefore we develop our laminates in close cooperation with the customer, which enables us to select a proper barrier, optics and sealing properties of the product.

5. Quality control

Quality Control Department constitutes of trained staff provided with specialized equipment, which is the foundation of a comprehensive verification of product conformity with the expectations of customers. This unit controls physical and chemical parameters of film.

Ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining constant and high quality of our products is our primary goal. Strictly defined and documented rules applied at every stage of production allow us to introduce complete and safe goods, compliant with requirements.

6. Cut/Packing

Film is being slighted and winded into rolls in response to approved specification or it being cut and sealed into pouches and bags.

7. Delivery

After goods are ready to be dispatched, we check the best option of transport, working with reliable partners. Goods are being successfully shipped to the clients address in agreed time.
